Disadvantages of drop sets


The main drawback of drop sets is that they are very painful and lead to severe muscle acidification. This effect is provided by the phased unloading of the bar: the muscle can no longer perform a repetition with a normal weight, but is still able to continue working with a lighter weight. If you want to try drop sets in your training, prepare to endure the pain.
